Het firefox probleem was gisteren al opgelost. Hoog tijd dus om ook Flight Gear deftig werkend te krijgen.
Blijkbaar ontstaat er een conflict tussen Flight Gear en Compiz want wanneer je die laatste uitschakeld heb je geen beeldflikkeringen meer.
Het spel zelf speel redelijk vlot, totdat je van vliegtuig wilt wisselen… want.. dat gaat niet zomaar:
You need to start Flightgear by using Konsole. Konsole is available via your Start Menu (the System tab).When you have started Konsole, the command to start Flightgear is ‘fgfs’.
To find out what aircraft are available when you start, enter ‘fgfs –show-aircraft’. This will display a list.
When you have chosen your desired aircraft, start Flightgear with the command ‘fgfs –aircraft=’ and here type the aircraft name from the list that you require.
As reclusivemonkey rightly says, you can add further aircraft at the ‘Download Aircraft’ link .
To get a full list of the help available, use your Konsole and type ‘fgfs –help’.
